This did not discourage the zealous entrepreneur but instead motivated him to seriously understand why success happened to some people in life while others failed. Through his research and deriving useful ideas from writers such as Maltz and Wallace Wattles, Joel came up with a concept called, ‘The Income Thermostat’. He started teaching the concept to anyone he came across. Today he is renown speaker in online seminars and has written for worldwide success publications.

In 2012, Joel developed an interest in online marketing and undertook a course in selling on eBay and Amazon. Through this, he started selling his Habanero Shaker online. With the wave of crypto-currency booming immediately after, Joel thrived to learn about it and is currently training people on blockchain and cryptocurrency fulltime while still selling his product.

Joel believes that success is all in the mind and it needs to be implemented. He always put his ideas which keep coming on paper, and this he mostly does in his cycling sessions. Joel says that while most people know the things they ought to do, most do not do them making them remain at the same spot. To him, one learns best from those who are already successful at what you want to do.
